Terms of Use for Talent Pool
– WBS CODING SCHOOL –
1 Definition
WBS CODING SCHOOLs (WBS CS) Talent Pool is a platform connecting students, alumni, and verified partner companies. The goal is to connect talents with work opportunities, facilitate recruitment management, and boost employability.
2 User Eligibility
Only verified students, alumni, and partner company representatives are authorised to access the platform.
3 Acceptance of Terms
By using WBS’s Talent Pool, you agree to the collection and use of your personal data in accordance with these terms of use.
Please review these terms carefully before joining our Talent Pool, as they outline important guidelines regarding privacy protection and the use of your personal information.
If specific regulations apply within certain regions (such as GDPR in Europe), we comply with those regulations when handling users' private details. Information on the processing of your data can be found in our privacy policy.
4 User Responsibilities
4.1 Profile Accuracy
By signing up for the WBS CS’s Talent Pool, you agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information about yourself (name, email address, LinkedIn profile), professional skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as upload projects promoting your candidacy. Your email address will be shared only with verified recruiters and partner companies.
4.2 Profile Completion
We strongly recommend completing your profile and publishing it within your bootcamp or one month thereafter. Recruiters use the information in your profile to match you with potential job opportunities.
4.3 Profile Visibility
You can control how much of your personal data you share and can choose from the following visibility modes:
- Private: Visible only to you
- Ready-to-Publish: Ready for Career Services check and release
- Published: Visible to all logged-in/authorised users (other participants and recruiters)
- Open-to-work: extra visibility for recruiters
- Shareable: A private link to non-authorised recruiters outside the WBS CS School’s Talent Pool
4.4 Responding to Recruiter Communication
We work hard to acquire partner companies into our network. When contacted by a recruiter through the talent pool, you have the option to accept or decline their invitation for further communication or job interviews. If you choose to engage with a recruiter, ensure they are legitimate and reputable before sharing any personal information. Always keep your communication professional and be accountable. We recommend responding to recruiter requests within 1 business day. If you decline their offer, always provide your reasons. We reserve the right to unpublish your profile provided we receive extremely negative recruiter feedback.
4.5 Updating and Informing About Employment
Update your personal information regularly (as prompted in the Career Services Job Survey) and inform us of your employment status immediately. After finding employment, remove the tag "Open-to-work".
4.6 Suspension of an account as a result of a violation
We reserve the right to delete the account in case of a violation of these terms of use or prohibited activities. We inform you that the suspension of an account will be documented in our CRM and can be used to update your funding body (in case your training is funded by a third party).
